Description: A clump-forming Perennial with an upright habit. Mid-green leaves are ovate, although the Basal Leaves are Divided into three lobes, giving the plant its species name. Abundant, golden yellow, daisy-like flowers, each with a prominent, black central cone are produced on branched stems from midsummer into mid-autumn. Technically a short-lived Perennial, but often used as a Biennial. Will self-sow.

Daisy-like flower heads are composed of reflexed, golden yellow ray florets (petals) surrounding a prominent, black central cone of disc florets. Flowers are produced from July into October.
