Description: Medium-sized Deciduous Shrub with a mound-forming habit and dark green leaves that resemble those of oak trees (hence the species name). Cone-shaped panicles of showy white florets are produced from midsummer into autumn and age to pink. The leaves turn rich shades of burgundy red in autumn.

The correct botanical name for this plant is Hydrangea quercifolia 'Flemygea', 'Snow Queen' is a trademark name.

Cone-shaped panicles are composed of small, inconspicuous fertile florets that are hidden underneath the larger, showy sterile florets. Flowers turn pink with age and are produced from July into September on the previous year's growth.
