Description: A compact, tuberous Perennial, often treated as an annual, with an upright habit. Dark green pinnate leaves have ovate to Diamond-shaped leaflets. Deep maroon, daisy-like flowers are composed of a central cluster of Disc florets surrounded by a ring of velvety ray florets (petals). The flowers are held singly atop upright stems and are produced from mid-summer into mid-autumn. The Blooms are chocolate-scented. Plants can be overwintered indoors protected from frost, or treated as an annual. Excellent for use as cut flowers.

The correct name for this plant is Cosmos atrosanguineus 'Thomocha', Chocomoca is a trademark name.

Deep maroon, daisy-like flowers are composed of ray florets (petals) that are notched at the tips surrounding a central cluster of disc florets. The flowers are held singly atop upright stems and are produced from July into October. The blooms are chocolate-scented.
