Description: Evergreen, clump-forming Perennial with dark green, strap-shaped basal foliage. Single, pale lemon yellow, lily-shaped flowers are produced on tall stems from mid to late summer. The common name, Daylily, refers to the fact that each flower only lasts one day, usually around sixteen hours. Hemerocallis 'Marion Vaughn' is classified as a nocturnal daylily, meaning the flowers open in the afternoon and will last until the following morning. As with many other nocturnal daylilies, 'Marion Vaughn' is quite fragrant.
