Description: Clump-forming herbaceous Perennial with an upright habit and mid-green, lanceolate foliage. Daisy-like flowers with bright yellow petals (technically ray florets) and a golden yellow central cone are produced on upright stems from midsummer into autumn. Helenium 'Sombrero' is attractive to bees and butterflies and excellent for using as cut flowers.

The correct botanical name is Helenium autumnale 'Sombrero' (Mariachi Series). The Mariachi Series of hot-coloured Heleniums were bred by AB Cultivars of The Netherlands.

Daisy-like flowers are composed of bright yellow ray florets (petals) with notched tips surrounding a golden yellow central cone of disc florets. Flowers are produced on upright stems from July into September.
