Description: A clump-forming herbaceous Perennial with a bushy, upright habit. Aromatic, mid to dark green leaves are triangular to ovate in shape with coarsely toothed to scalloped margins. The foliage smells of liquorice when crushed. Many small tubular 2-lipped flowers are rich violet-blue with magenta calyces. The Blooms are held in dense spikes on upright stems and are produced from mid-summer into mid-autumn. The flowers are very attractive to pollinating insects.
