Description: A bulbous Perennial with an upright habit. Bright green, strap-shaped leaves are held at the base of very tall, upright stems that turn deep red with age. Many small, violet pink flowers are tinged with white and are star-shaped. The flowers are held in dense umbels and produced atop the tall stems from late summer into early autumn and are followed by attractive seed heads. Allium 'Summer Drummer' is excellent for use as cut flowers and for drying. Attractive to pollinating insects.

Many small, star-shaped flowers are a shade of violet pink. The blooms are densely held in umbels atop extraordinarily tall, upright stems and are produced from late summer into early autumn.
