Description: A medium-sized Deciduous Shrub with an upright, spreading habit. Mid to dark green leaves are Elliptic to obovate in shape and are held in opposite pairs on winged branches. Euonymus alatus 'Blade Runner' has wider and more prominent wings on the branches than the species and other cultivars. Small greenish-yellow, cross-shaped flowers are held in Cymes along the branches and are produced from late spring into early summer. The flowers are followed by orange berries in autumn. Euonymus alatus ('Blade Runner' included) is renowned for its neat foliage that reliably turns brilliant red in the autumn. Slow-growing.

Small, pale greenish-yellow flowers are cruciform in shape. The blooms are held in cymes along the branches and are produced in May and June. The flowers are followed by berry-like fruit that turns orange in autumn.
