Description: A medium-sized Deciduous Shrub with upright branches and an overall rounded habit. Mid to dark green leaves are Elliptic to obovate in shape. The leaves are held in opposite pairs on stems with flattened, wing-like growth. Small greenish-yellow, cross-shaped flowers are produced in Cymes from late spring into early summer. A relatively large quantity of orange, Berry-like fruit is produced in the autumn. 'Timber Creek' develops the celebrated brilliant red leaf colour earlier in the autumn than the species and other cultivars.

Small, pale greenish-yellow flowers are cruciform in shape. The blooms are held in cymes along winged stems and are produced in May and June. Abundant, berry-like fruit turns orange in autumn.
