Description: A bulbous Perennial with a clump-forming habit. Waxy, strap-shaped leaves are mid to dark green and glossy. The foliage is held in basal rosettes and each leaf can reach to 70cm in length. Green buds open to small, creamy white, star-shaped flowers. The Blooms are held in spectacular vertical Racemes atop upright stems and are produced from late summer into mid-autumn. The Racemes are topped with a tuft of leaf-like Bracts, inspiring the common name.
