Description: Clump-forming herbaceous Perennial with attractive, mid-green palmate leaves. Upright Racemes of scented, deep purple, pea-like flowers with deep orange flecks are produced from late spring into early summer. Excellent for use as cut flowers.

Deep purple, pea-like flowers with deep orange to amber flecks are produced in densely packed, upright racemes in May and June. The flowers lighten to purple-blue with age and are followed by pale green seed pods that are covered in fine, silky white hair.
