Description: Clump-forming, herbaceous Perennial with attractive, mid-green, palmate leaves. Upright Racemes of scented, deep purple-blue, pea-like flowers with white flecks are produced from early to midsummer. Excellent for use as cut flowers.

The full name is Lupinus 'The Governor' (Band of Nobles Series)

Deep blue-purple, pea-like flowers with white flecks are produced in upright racemes in June and July. The flowers are followed by pale green seed pods that are covered in fine, silky white hair. Lupinus 'The Governor' is similar to L. 'Persian Slipper', but the flowers are slightly more sparse up the racemes.
